Chapter 129 Two thirds will die
Message from Binyamin Golden 7 Iyar 5770
The world is progressing in a way that proves that we are in very great danger. The whole world is in danger, not only the Jews, although the Jews are receiving very direct messages from Shamayim.
Like, for instance, the very harsh blows Hashem sent upon the world recently. Just to remind you, in the last two or three months we have seen an unbelievably large amount of strong earth quakes. The whole world is trembling.
Whoever understands what is going on, knows that these occurrences are messages for Am Yisrael in particular [Rabbi Elazra the son of Avina said: Troubles do not befall the world for anyone besides Am Yisrael" (to strike them with fear so they will do teshuva -Rashi)" Yevamos 63].
Hakadosh Baruch Hu is preparing the world for a most harsh situation and He will put us, the Jews, through the fire ["But who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap." Malachi 3;2], in order to purify us from the sins of this world and bring us to a state of complete bitachon (faith) in Hakadosh Baruch Hu so that we may be worthy of receiving Moshiach Tzidkenu ["the main reason for giving the Torah to Israel is that they will place their faith in Hashem... for the essence of all is the complete bitachon and this includes all of the mitzvos" HaGry"A, Mishlei 22, see Devarim 8;3)].
This is also a warning to the nations of the world, that they too, at least some of them, need to do teshuva. But for the most part, it is a message to the goyim that their end is coming, together with a terrible punishment for all the troubles they caused Am Yisrael over the generations. It is going to be terrifying, vicious - far more vicious than the plagues of Egypt.
However, most of the people in the world are barely raising their heads to see these warnings. That is why the world was sent another very harsh message that started about a week ago in Iceland. A volcano erupted and led to such an impossible situation where not one plane in Europe could take off or land.
If a volcano erupted and nevertheless airplanes continued flying, no one would have even noticed it aside from a few Icelanders who were forced to flee their homes.
Since the volcano hit the flights so beloved upon the world, at least some people are lifting their heads and saying, "Oh no! How will we fly this week to Paris? How will we attend the Bar Mitzvah in Belgium, or how will we visit the Ukraine?" Because of this people actually started opening their eyes a bit.
There is an even worse problem now.
The financial situation of Europe and of the world in general. If there are no flights for five days into or out of Europe, this has a negative effect on the financial state of the whole world.
That is very dangerous, because if the financial situation gets any worse, and banks start falling, etc., this will greatly harm the people's lives.
So, Baruch Hashem, because of the money issues, people are noticing the miracle Hashem performed. Nevertheless, the danger is not over. These volcanoes, the two brothers are going to be causing a lot more trouble for the world. I hope that after the next round of trouble people will start realizing that the world has a Creator and that only He is Omnipotent and whoever opposes Him will disappear [see Devarim 34 clarified in Da'as Tevunos].
However, this volcano and the other one are not going to bring about the world's end. There will be more plagues.
And just as was in the case of Egypt, with each plague the world will gain more and more fear of Hashem. The main reason for all this is to wake up the Jews so that they will do teshuva. According to the previous gedolei hador (great Rabbis), most of the Jews at the end of time, before the coming of Moshiach are from the neshamas of the Erev Rav and the Erev Rav will not survive [see Divrei Chaim on the Torah, Hashmatos Leparshas Vayakhel, and the Ariz"l said already about his generation that most of the Jews were from the Erev Rav, Likutei Torah, Parshas Va'eschanan].
Don't think that all of the Secular Jews are from the ‘Erev Rav'. That's not true. And don't assume that none of the Charedim are ‘Erev Rav'. That's also not true. Among the Secular Jews there are some very pure Jews who have gone astray but at the right moment they are going to wake up and realize and accept the truth - that only Hakadosh Baruch Hu is the King of all Kings, ein od milvado (there is none other besides Him), only HKB"H and His Torah ["You are to know this day and take to your heart that Hashem is the only God - in Heaven above and on the earth below - there is none other" Devarim 4)].
But there are many so called ‘Charedim' in the Charedi community who don't really believe in Hakadosh Baruch Hu and the coming of Moshiach. They are totally caught up with the Egel Hazahav and the lies of the Olam Hazeh (this world). That's why Hashem is sending plagues and striking the Goyim, in order to wake up the Jews ["I have cut off nations, their corners are desolate, I have made their streets waste so that none can pass by; their cities are destroyed so that there is no man... I said "surely you will fear me, you will receive correction" (Zephania 3)]. According to the nevuos (prophecies), in the end there will be a very vicious war where two-thirds of the world will be destroyed ["And it was in all the land the word of Hashem, two parts of it will be cut off and die and a third will remain" (Zecharia 13)].
***********************************************
Don't think that all the Jews will survive. Don't forget that after the plague of darkness, only a fifth of the Jews remained alive ["And some say one out of fifty and some say one out of five hundred (Mechilta of Shlach 1)]. And this time the Erev Rav will not survive.
There are even Jews with long beards and long peyos that will not survive, since, even with all their external dress codes their hearts are not with Hakadosh Baruch Hu [which is the essence, that "Hashem wants the heart" (Sanhedrin 106, see there the whole issue)].
In one Jewish family it is possible that some are Erev Rav and some that are not. It doesn't go according to families. There can be very yichus'dik (‘elite') families, Jews that are sons of gedolim, and that still does not mean they are not Erev Rav. Obviously, most of the secular Jews will not have a clue about what I am speaking. However, a lot of Charedim will also not have a clue and that is a very sad situation.
Who is not Erev Rav? A humble Jew who tries his best, every moment to believe in and trust Hakadosh Baruch Hu and do His will, blessed He be ["And I will leave in your midst a poor and afflicted people and they will take refuge in the name of Hashem" (Malachi 3)].
If in the end, right before Moshiach comes a person has any shred of a doubt (in Hashem), he will be nullified. There cannot be any doubt; doubt means destruction, doubt is the yetzer hara (Evil Inclination). Moshe Rabenu asked Hashem for permission to take the Erev Rav out of Egypt.
Who were the Erev Rav? They were the Egyptians that supposedly took upon themselves das Moshe (i.e. to become Jews).
They supposedly believed in Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
What is the biggest problem with the Erev Rav? Doubt!
One who has doubt could have come out of Egypt but cannot receive Moshiach Tzidkenu.
Q. What do you mean by "doubt"?
A. Doubt is if a person does not believe that Hashem is the Omnipotent and does everything for the best ["Everything Hashem does He does for the best" (Brachos 60)], even if it is hard for us or if our logic tells us otherwise. We must be completely subjected to Hakadosh baruch Hu, to His Torah, and everything we were taught by our Sages, z"l.
Everything is Emes. Moshe is emes and His Torah is emes [which was the tikkun of the sons of Korach (Bava Batra 74)]. That's all.
Whoever has the tiniest shred of a doubt about this, cannot join in the group of those receiving Moshiach Tzidkenu. A person who truly believes that this world is sheker, will not have any problem passing this test.
Doubt is much worse than the sin of a moment's weakness, much worse, because that is something that is almost impossible to repent.
Am Yisrael! Open your eyes! After this current plague, which is not yet finished, there will be more plagues, each one worse and more terrifying than the previous. These plagues are obviously going to damage the economy. In Egypt, there was no more economy left after the plagues and after the splitting of the Yam Suf and that is going to be the future situation of the world.
Hashem and only Hashem, is going to destroy two-thirds of the world [see above, Zecharia13] and then, there will be no more doubt as to Who is running the world - only Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
In the end, all of the goyim and all of the reshaim (wicked people) will see the truth but will not be able to change their ways. They will grasp the truth at the very last minute but that will be their end.
Like the Egyptians that went into the Yam Suf; they drowned in the deep mud of the sea. They bobbed up and down and grasped the truth ["And I will harden the heart of Pharaoh and he will chase after them... and Mitzrayim will know that I am Hashem" (Shemos 14)] but could not do a thing to save themselves.
That is how the end will be now.
Jews, with everything that is happening in the world, the supernatural and the supposed ‘natural', all the threats of a third world war, with all this you are still floating around in a pink bubble as though nothing at all was going on.
If it's the Jews in Israel, where the Arabs have a rocket aimed at almost every single Jew living in Israel, or in America and Europe, where life is going on more or less as usual and the people are hoping that the economy will go up and return to so called better times.
But I am telling you, the present time is the best time. This is the time where the truth is being revealed [the worthlessness of all the gashmius - materialism and vanities of this world], and what could be better than the truth? What is more comforting, gladdening, what is better than the truth of Hakadosh Baruch Hu?
However, a person that is distant from Hakadosh Baruch Hu prefers the sheker (lie); he hangs around Rabbi Akiva street in Bnei Brak, buys immodest clothes, goes to restaurants etc., or on Malchei Yisrael st. in Jerusalem, licking ice cream and eating all sorts of foods befitting for goyim - albeit with a hechsher.
They dress like goyim and want to gain wordly pleasures, pleasures like those of the goyim but with a hechsher or a "heter" (permission from a Rabbi).
Just as long as they supposedly don't completely let go their hold of the Jewish framework.
Yet, in the very near future there is going to be a most difficult selection ["And there will be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time... Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, etc., (Daniel 12)], and all those that don't completely meet the demands of Hakadosh Baruch Hu and His Torah will disappear ["And He will destroy all the evil people" (end of Ashrei prayer)].
Those that are tightly holding on to the Emes will be very happy and will move on to the world of Moshiach and the third Beis Hamikdash which is the true and eternal simcha (joy) [As clarified in Mesillas Yesharim, chapter 1].
The sinners of my people will die by the sword
Message from Daniel 9th of Iyar 5770
I heard what Binyamin said and want to add a few more points. There are a lot of people that don't want to know how much the world is in danger. They prefer to lie to themselves and say that the world is going on as usual. So what if there was an earth quake in Chile or Haiti or wherever, and what if it did reach 8.8 on the Richter scale?
So what if a volcano erupted and shut down the entire European air travel system?
After every frightening and worrisome situation most of the people look forward to the moment they can peacefully return to their gashmius.
All of the disasters, the natural disasters as well as the disasters supposedly caused by human mistakes, are messages particularly for the Jews, and they are saying: It's time; now, at this very moment, it's time to do teshuva. It's time to return to Hakadosh Baruch Hu and the Toras emes.
Yet, all the personal and worldwide disasters that have occurred over the past few years are not making any impression.
They were afraid for a short while after the twin towers fell, they were shocked for a little while after the tsunami, and so on and so forth, but most of the people say, "Never mind. Life goes on, there's nothing to worry about. Stop worrying about nonsense." As if it has nothing to do with us.
Before the Jews left Egypt there were ten plagues. Each time, Hashem hit the Egyptians with the most vicious plagues which went on for a while, and when it was over, everyone forgot about it. The majority forgot and continued hating the Jews.
This repeated itself time and again: They were afraid, they suffered from the plague, but after that they forgot and continued their evil ways.
The Jews who saw the plagues were strengthened in their emunah and bitachon in Hashem.
But when the plagues were finished, some of the Jews found it hard to remember what Hashem did and feel confident that Hashem would continue in the future protecting them and would take them out of Egypt.
We are currently in that precise situation.
This is already the end of the world as we know it. Hashem has already started striking the world with intense punishments. Every time a punishment comes, people express all sorts of opinions about it, everyone is all excited and worked up about it, all over the world people watch it on television, hear it on the radio and become excited and even afraid.
But at some point the excitement dies down and it's back to business as usual, as it were.
We have already begun receiving the Heavenly punishments before the end (of the world), and this should please us and bring us more bitachon and emunah in Hashem. Yet most of the people don't realize that these are punishments we are getting from Shamayim in order to arouse us; to help us want to be bnei chorin (free), Jews that are not dependant upon any thing gashmi (materialistic), only upon Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
After every punishment we get we want to just forget about it, as though it never happened, because we want to hold on to our Golden Calf (materialism).
Yet, soon, when Moshiach Tzidkenu comes, he will reveal himself to us all, Be'ezras Hashem, and will fight the wars of the Jews against the goyim and win, be'ezras Hashem.
Then, only the true Jews will be able to welcome him and enjoy the greatest spiritual pleasure possible [see Mesillas Yesharim chapter 1].
Am Yisrael, I'm asking you, look around at what is happening in the world. If you look well, you'll start seeing the direction and understanding where Hashem is taking us. Despite all of our personal trials - nissyonos, and those of the klal (the people as a whole), we must completely trust in Hashem, without any doubts and want with all our beings to be Am Yisrael, the bride of Hakadosh Baruch Hu in the desert [see Yirmiyahu 2,2].
Am Yisrael, His children, Hakadosh Baruch Hu's most beloved children.
Those who cannot let go of the doubt [of Hashem's oneness], and choose to remain with the Golden Calf, will be left in "Egypt" as it were.
However, the Jews that long for Beis Hamikdash and Moshiach,
who yearn for a more complete world, long to be under the reign of Moshiach,
those Jews will come out of galus (exile) and become true bnei chorin.
There are going to be very hard times and we must not forget that they are only a test of bitachon in Hashem for all of the Jews. For our own sakes, we should do everything possible not to let go of the rope that ties us to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, no matter how hard Hakdosh Baruch Hu shakes that rope, as it were, and gives us difficult nissyonos.
We, the Jewish people, must return to our Father in Heaven. Many of us have ran away from the house of Hashem and don't want to know our Father in Heaven.
Now is the time, for us all, to completely return - those of us that are distant as well as those of us that are close.
The end is coming and the world of sheker is going to disappear and in its place will be the world of emes with all its beauty and spiritual strength [clarified in the Maharal, Netzach Yisrael, chap. 39 and more].
We must be worthy of living in a world that is all good;
a world where the Torah is our life and nothing else,
all day, twenty four hours, seven days a week.
This is what a yid needs to do:
He needs to separate himself from the sheker of the olam hazeh with all its carelessness.
When I say carelessness, I mean that people are not fulfilling the most important mitzvas such as love of Hashem, learning Torah lishmah (for the sake of learning and nothing else), kedusha, modesty, guarding the eyes and the tongue and the bris (man's guarding of the covenant {physically and mentally}) [see Zohar, Shlach 57], loving your fellow Jew and so on.
The Jews must separate themselves from materialism and the sheker of the olam hazeh (this world) so that they will be able to live in a world that is all good, a world without the yetzer hara ["And the Lord, your G-d will circumcise your heart" (Devarim 30 see Ramban there)].
It is crucial that every Jew leave "Mitzrayim" and once again accept the yoke of Heaven. This will bring us to the end of the galus, to receiving Moshiach Tzidkenu, and merit offering korbanos in the third Beis Hamikdash.
